PROGRAM
On your first day, you'll settle into your luxury five-star Noumea hotel, only a stone's throw from the beach. The next two days are yours to spend as you wish, whether you're after some time in the water, some shopping, or a fix of culture and history. On day four you'll journey to the Isle of Pines, known as the Jewel of the South Pacific. It is 80km south-east of Noumea and is a place where time stands still. It is just a dot in the azure waters, measuring 14km wide and 18km long, with the obligatory white sandy beaches and soaring Island pines. Known as Ile des Pins in French and Kunie in Melanesian, it is as beautiful under the water as it is on land, making it a favourite spot for divers and hikers. On day seven you'll find yourself enjoying a buffet breakfast before being transferred back to Noumea for your last night - which we think is the perfect chance to get a taste of gourmet French cuisine.
