DoubleTree by Hilton Noumea Ilot Maitre Resort features three styles of bungalow, with 69 in total, It is mainly known for their overwater bungalows, which float above the shimmering blue water like a mirage in an oasis. What says paradise more than diving off your private terrace into the water below? But there’s more to the resort than that, of course! Located within a 200 hectare natural reserve, some of the locals who frequent the resort are a local species of sea turtles! The resort also boasts an outdoor swimming pool, restaurant, bar, room service and a variety of equipment for rent to participate in the variety of water sports on offer. Guests staying at the hotel can catch the boat into Noumea during the day for sightseeing or lunch at no extra charge (five return transfers operating each day).
